SCOTT v. U.S.

United States District Court, S.D. California

November 23, 2005.

SANDRA LEE SCOTT, Defendant/Petitioner,
v.
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, Plaintiff/Respondent.

The opinion of the court was delivered by: IRMA GONZALEZ, District Judge

ORDER CLOSING FILE

On April 21, 2005, defendant/petitioner, Sandra Lee Scott, filed a petition to seal "the entire arrest and criminal records information of case number PC-69-314." The original matter having been resolved as a petty offense, no documents currently exist in this court system pertaining to Scott's request. Therefore, there is nothing to seal in this context.

The court, having no control over any law enforcement arrest records, cannot issue an order sealing those records.

Therefore, it is ordered that the above-captioned case be closed.

  IT IS SO ORDERED.
