ORDER AFTER HEARING

This matter came before the Court for Status Conference on August 26, 2008, in the courtroom of the Honorable Lawrence K. Karlton, U.S. District Court Judge. The government, represented by its counsel, Assistant United States Attorney Russell Carlberg, defense counsel for Michael Donnelly, Supervising Assistant Federal Defender Dennis S. Waks and defense counsel for Mary Donnelly, Bruce Locke and the defendants were present.

Defense counsel requested that the matter be set for a trial confirmation hearing on January 13, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. and a jury trial on January 27, 2009 at 10:30 a.m.

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that this matter be set for a trial confirmation hearing on January 13, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. and a jury trial on January 27, 2009 at 10:30 a.m.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 3161 (h)(8)(B)(iv) [reasonable time to prepare] (Local Code T4), the period from August 26, 2008 to and including January 27, 2009 is excluded from the time computations required by the Speedy Trial Act due to ongoing preparation of counsel.
