The parties having stipulated that defendants Life Insurance Company of North America ("LINA") and Friden Alcatel Group Long Term Disability Income Plan may have an extension to and including January 26, 2009 to answer the Complaint due to ongoing settlement negotiations.

Since good cause has been shown by the stipulation of the parties, the extension to answer the complaint to February 12, 2009 is granted.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
