Defendant, EDWARD ORTIZ, by and through his attorney, Assistant Federal Defender David M. Porter, and plaintiff, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, by and through its counsel, Assistant U.S. Attorney William S. Wong, request the court continue the Status Conference, currently set for May 19, 2009, to Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at 9:15 a.m., to allow the parties to engage in further negotiations. An order granting the request is lodged herewith.

ORDER
