ORDER

Plaintiff is a state prisoner proceeding without counsel. Plaintiff seeks relief pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983.

On April 6, 2010, plaintiff filed a motion requesting the court to order service of process on defendants. Dkt. No. 11. However, on March 29, 2010, plaintiff's complaint was dismissed with leave to amend. Dkt. No. 8. Service is not appropriate until plaintiff files an amended complaint that contains cognizable claims.

Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that plaintiff's April 6, 2010 motion (Dkt. No. 11) be denied.
