On may 25, 2012, Plaintiff JPMorgan Chase Bank National Association ("Plaintiff") filed a Complaint for Unlawful Detainer against Defendant Pepita A. Mendez ("Defendant") in Los Angeles Superior Court. On March 19, 2013, Defendant filed a Notice of Removal, alleging that this Court has jurisdiction.
