CASE MANAGEMENT AND PRETRIAL ORDER (JURY)

Following
the case management conference held on August 10, 2016, IT IS
HEREBY ORDERED THAT the next case management conference will
be held on November 9, 2016 at 1:30 p.m.
IT IS
FURTHER ORDERED THAT:
I.
TRIAL DATE
A. Jury
trial will begin on October 16, 2017 at 9:30
a.m. in Courtroom A on the 15th Floor, 450 Golden Gate
Avenue, San Francisco, California, 94102.
B. The
length of the trial will not be more than eight days.
C.
Trial normally will be conducted from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
(or slightly longer to finish a witness) with two
fifteen-minute breaks and forty-five minutes for lunch,
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday excluding holidays. If
there are issues that must be addressed outside the presence
of the jury, the Court shall address those issues at 8:30
a.m. This schedule may be modified at the discretion of the
Court.
II.
DISCOVERY
A. All
non-expert discovery shall be completed no later than
June 16, 2017.
B.
Initial expert disclosures shall be made by no later than
June 16, 2017.
C.
Rebuttal expert disclosures shall be made by no later than
June 26, 2017.
D. All
expert discovery shall be completed no later than
July 14, 2017.
III.
MOTIONS
The
last day for hearing dispositive motions shall be
August 30, 2017. If the parties plan to file
cross-motions for summary judgment, the parties shall meet
and confer and agree to a briefing schedule whereby:
• one party files an opening summary judgment motion by
July 12, 2017;
• the other party shall file its opposition and
cross-motion by July 26, 2017;
• the reply and opposition to the cross-motion is due by
August 9, 2017;
• the reply in support of the cross-motion is due by
August 16, 2017.
